The importance of the environment in the health of the SE economy was taken seriously and reports are included in this section that explore options for investing in the green economy and renewal energy sources, consider retrofitting the SE housing stock as part of a strategy to reduce carbon emissions and alleviate fuel poverty, and reviews the problems of poor housing conditions in the private sector across the SE.
